Since the beginning of the new millennium, the cities of Remscheid Solingen and Wuppertal are in cooperation for a combined project, which includes reforms in the areas of economy, traffic, tourism and culture.
An area influenced by early industry and nature, is the base of a project for the improvement of subtile tourism , which includes a 22 km long travelling path, along the rivers Eschbach and Wupper.
The concept of project Leophard, to accompany the path by animationable kinetic “implants”, which are driven by rain and the river, was awarded with a prize.
