The darkly transparent petal-dish of the sculpture is lit from below to reveal the fragile stamens standing in a glowing white tangle in the centre. Their tulip-like heads slowly fill with water. When the weight becomes too much for each delicate stem it tilts and bends dispensing the liquid into the bowl of the flower before swaying back up to be refilled. As they stoop the bowl echoes to the sound of each stamen softly kissing its surface.
