The Salettl Restaurant

Inspired by a famous restaurant in the fashionable 19th district of Vienna, Gerhard Zsambok recreates the atmosphere of the venue as seen by the passer by.
Through the translucent window blind set in a sheet metal silhouette of the building, brass puppet figures, representing guests at the restaurant, fill with water, tilt and empty. To the observer the guests seem to move, bend and dance oblivious to the external gaze.
